Doctoral Student Corner
ABOUT THE DOCTORAL STUDENT CORNER
The AIS Doctoral Student College will host several in-person and virtual events as part of this year’s ICIS Doctoral Student Corner. We have developed these events to help doctoral students make the most of the conference by providing opportunities to gain advice from experienced faculty and to build relationships with others in our field.
We invite doctoral students at all levels to register for these free ancillary events when registering for ICIS 2021. If you have already registered for the conference but forgot to include the Doctoral Student Corner ancillary events, you are still welcome to participate. We will give away several Amazon gift cards during each of our events!
While we would love to see everyone in person at the corner, we understand the evolving nature of the global pandemic may limit travel. So for the first time, we will offer our events in a hybrid Doctoral Student Corner and look forward to connecting both in-person participants and virtual participants from around the world with our offerings. Our main events include:
In-person Events
Welcome Reception & Awards Ceremony
Sunday, December 12th
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
The welcome reception event will be our first official event for the Doctoral Student Corner at ICIS 2021. During the first half-hour, students will have the chance to meet and interact with each other, and in the second half, we will have our on-site AGM.
