GIS can play a key role in improving sustainability by collecting, managing and analyzing data integrated with, for example, demographic data. The first part will have two presentations on the importance of location to sustainability and include a keynote talk by an academic/industry leader. In the second part, contributed papers will be presented relating to emerging opportunities and issues related to GIS, sustainability and the broader realm of GIS applications in organizations and government.

HITS-Health Information Technology Symposium (formerly the SIG Health Pre-ICIS Workshop) is a pre-conference activity of the International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS) hosted by the Special Interest Group: Health IT (SIGHEALTH). AACSB MaCude and SIGED Workshop on The Future Industry Needs of Big Data and AI Education

This workshop will include a presentation of the field study of current and future industry education needs associated with Big Data and AI. Comparisons to current AIS/SIGMIS Curriculum are provided. Also presentations and comments from industry representatives are given of their needs.

We would welcome if you could attend it either virtually or in person at that time. Please see the agenda below. Any suggestions or recommendations are welcomed. Sorry for the time but this works best for the conference scheduling.

The Workshop will present the outcomes of the second phase. Please find attached the tentative full slide deck which reports our analysis of the industry needs associated with AI/Big data based on a rich interview data set.
